Rigor & Assessment [Podcast Episode 4]

In this episode of the Rutgers Alternate Route's podcast series, Dr. Anthony Jenkins and Perry Medina discuss assessments. Dr. Anthony Jenkins is a 20 year teaching and school leadership veteran currently serving as Principal in Plainfield School District. A former alternate route teacher, Dr. Jenkins lectures widely for various organizations, including the Association of Math Teachers in New Jersey. He is currently the President of the Plainfield Association of School Administrators. Perry Medina is an administrator for the Plainfield School District with particular expertise in curriculum development & teacher training. In his current role as a Vice Principal of Washington Community School, Mr. Medina supervises, analyzes and informs curricula and oversees professional development.

Rutgers Alternate Route Teacher Program's podcast series, "Give or Take Ten Minutes: Tips for Teachers," focuses on issues related to improving student learning and teacher practice.
