Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools across New Jersey have ceased in-person instruction and abruptly transitioned to distance education. This sudden shift has left educators, administrators, and other school personnel in uncharted waters and unsure of how to maintain student engagement and support.
In response to this situation, The Center for Effective School Practices is proud to announce the launch of CESPConnects, an online space dedicated to fostering productive conversations, disseminating timely and actionable resources, and delivering high-quality, relevant professional learning opportunities. The site features a discussion forum where members of the educational community can pose and answer questions, a resources page where community leaders and subject-area experts post resources and practical classroom tools and strategies for distance education. Professional development events are hosted virtually; these events are recorded and posted to a video gallery, where they will accompany upcoming interviews and tutorials.
The platform has been made publicly available at CESPConnects.com, where users are able to create a free account to fully engage with all features. The Center looks forward to growing this space to a broader audience and the productive collaboration among its members. Join today!
