Dr. Pierantoni teaches in the 400-hour Alternate Route program at the Newark and Paterson locations through the Center for Effective School Practices (CESP).

A practicing attorney and educator, Dr. Pierantoni currently serves as Academic Compliance Leader of Discovery Charter School--recognized in 2018 by the New Jersey Department of Education in as Newark's Top Rated Middle School, and Top 50 overall in the State of New Jersey. Dr. Pierantoni co-facilitates three phases of the Rutgers Alternate Route course of study in collaboration with instructors Dr. Irene Hall and Mr. Mohammed Kabbani. He was also a consultant at METS Charter School, and was an instructor and the Law Program Coordinator at Weequahic High School in the Newark (NJ) school system.                                                                                                           

Dr. Pierantoni holds a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (Yeshiva University) and received a B.S. in Pre-Law Studies from St. John’s University.
