Mr. Kabbani teaches in the 400-hour Alternate Route program in Newark through the Rutgers-Graduate School of Education.

A holder of multiple STEM endorsements, Mr. Kabbani currently teaches middle school at Discovery Charter School, a Newark Middle school ranked among the top 50 elementary and middle schools in the state. 

Mr. Kabbani holds an M.A.T. from Montclair State University. His B.S. in Environmental Science is from Rutgers University.

A class with new teachers is an exhibition in educator energy, enthusiasm, and passion for improving the lives of their students. Teachers bring their rich, diverse backgrounds and sincere approaches to learn and refine their crafts. New teachers lean on one another in a respectful and meaningful way - the fraternity and selflessness of shared experiences and useful resources keeps us all grounded and ready to chip away at the next challenge.
