Language teaching brings immense value to society—opening borders, connecting cultures, and empowering students to become culturally and globally conscious. Behind this mission are dedicated teachers equipped with the right resources to make language learning engaging and effective.

To support your work, Rutgers Alternate Route Teachers have curated a collection of recommended tools and resources they use to advance language learning in their classes. The list includes exceptional resources like ACTFL’s national standards and ready-to-use materials, gamified practice tools like Duolingo and Conjuguemos, and creative resources such as Rockalingua’s music-based Spanish lessons.
