In preparation for the winter season, Rutgers Center for Effective School Practices has made it easy for New Jersey's educators to find professional development and learning opportunities for the season.
We have compiled a list of education conferences hosted by state professional associations, as well as local universities and grassroots education groups. Teams of educators all over the state have planned a wide variety of winter learning events for fellow educators. Some of the conferences and trainings may require a financial investment from your district. With such diverse options, we trust that you will be able to find something that suits your budget, schedule and professional interests.
Engaging Multilingual Newcomers
Join the NJ Department of Education at this eWorkshop focused on how language specialists can build a network of educators in their buildings to support newcomer students in their schools. This eWorkshop will be comprised of a series of live webinars and tasks to be completed between webinars. Completing the entire webinar series and tasks will take approximately 6 hours. Each webinar will last 60-90 minutes.

PBS Edcamp for Early Childhood Educators
