Get Hired: Teaching Jobs for K12, Ell & Special Ed NJ [April]

 

With summer on the horizon, now is a perfect time to dive into a new job for the start of the 2019-20 school year. We have rounded up openings at our partner schools involved with the Diverse Teachers for Diverse Schools (DTDS) grant initiative, a program meant to foster and encourage alternate route pathways for teachers of color and minority backgrounds.

While you browse the jobs listed below, don’t forget to mark your calendars for the upcoming Educator Job Fair with the Newark Board of Education on Saturday May 18, 2019. Principals will be there to share information about their schools and to conduct interviews with candidates for their 2019-20 vacancies. OPEN K-12 TEACHER POSITIONS

  • Community Charter School of Paterson is looking to hire for the following positions:

    • An Elementary Technology Teacher. To be eligible, candidates must have a valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate or a Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing in K-6 AND Teaching Students with Disabilities. Learn more here.

    • (4) Four Elementary Teachers to develop and implement immersive lesson plans for individual and small-group learning. To be eligible, candidates must have a Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing in K-6. Learn more here.

    • An After School Club Leader to join its Extended Learning Program with preference for Spanish-speaking candidates. This role will play an important role in classroom management and directly engage with youth and parents. To be considered, a High School Diploma is required and some college credits are preferred. In collaboration with a partner organization, Rutgers is seeking to identify teacher test prep coaches to help aspiring teachers achieve a passing score on Praxis II Elementary Math subtest and Core Math.
